As directed by His Excellency the Governor's minute on my letter of 9th current, I beg to report on the damage done generally by the Typhoon of the 16th instant. I also affand an approximate estimate of the cost of putting the different Public Buildings or Works in the same state that they were in before the Storm.
2. Hardly a building in the Colony has escaped without injury, houses with their Cast-iron Fronts exposed.
